Depends on the test: Most blood tests are only positive for 24 hours, but urine tests can be positive for 3-4 days. Hair tests can test for drug use within the last 90 days or even longer depending on the length of your hair. I would imagine that those running the Methadone program would use both urine and blood tests to evaluate.
