Methadone +oxycodone: Call your prescribers. Ask their advice. Your apprehensions are very appropriate. You likely can take oxycodone, but timing around methadone is relevant.

Ask methadone doc: I highly recommend asking the advice of the physician prescribing the methadone. If you have signed a pain management agreement, you may need to do so anyway to avoid being in violation of the agreement; some pain management/narcotic agreements require all narcotic medications to come from a single prescriber.
