Ovulation timing: Ovulation happens 14 days before period comes, but some women have a short luteal phase of 10 -12 days. In a 38 day cycle ovulation could have happened on day 24-28 of your cycle. Should you wish to time your ovulation, you should know that there are over the counter test kits that do just that. Good luck!
