I had a thyroid fna last week, docs office just called and wouldn't give me results on the phone but asked me to come in. should i be concerned?

See your doctor: Conveying pathological report on the phone is not a good practice , first phone conversation breaks confidentiality , doctor has to make a note , able to give you full information. Even if the report is not pleasant , in general thyroid malignancies are curable , have over all excellent prognosis , or simply doctor wants to inform you in person , don't worry too much.

Probably yes: My policy is to only have pt f/u if abnrmal. Normals are just told to the pt.Not all doctors pracice this, some want the office visit regardless.Depends on your doctor.
