I have ovarian cyst on left side 3.8 on cat scan. i had a pap yesterday now that side hurts worse is this normal?

Likely unrelated: Sorry you are in pain. Paps usually cause short term cramping. You may have a follicle (cysts that form every month on the ovary) that ruptured, which can be painful. If the pain does not improve in a day or two, contact your gynecologist.

Unrelated.: I'm not sure why you are having symtoms. It's possible the cyst ruptured, but there are many causes of right sided pelvic pain. If the pain does not resolve, or you have fever or other symptoms you should be seen by a doctor. The pap smear is almost certainly unrelated to your symptoms.
