Stranger anxiety: This happens to almost every person who is not the primary caretaker toward the end of the first year. This is the height of stranger anxiety between now and 15 months. The child always wants that primary person. It happens even if you are not gone that much to most families. End of first year baby wants only that primary caretaker for several months, then will expand their affections to the rest.
