See aap.org: You can look at the recommended schedule for visits and immunizations on www.aap.org or healthychildren.org. The visits are usually a few days after discharge from the hospital for a weight check, then at 2 weeks of age (at discretion of MD), 1 month of age, 2 months of age, 4 months, 6 months, 9 months and 1 year, 15 months, 18 months, 2 year, 2 1/2 year, 3 year and yearly after that.

About 7 times: Infants need to see their pediatrician at 1 week, 1, 2, 4,6, 9 and 12 months of age for routine check ups. Many times they need unscheduled visits due to acute illnesses and the total number of visits may exceed 12.

Frequent visits: I like to see babies at one week after birth, sooner if there are any problems with breastfeeding, then usually visits are scheduled at one month, two months, four months, six months, nine months and then a year. Lots of visits! Best of Luck with your baby!
