Possibly: You may have changed your gate (the way you walk) to compensate for an injury and caused abnormal stress on other joints. I don't know how the wrist would play into that theory. If it continues see a doctor.

Compensatory Pains: Typically when you fall and hurt a significant body part (like your knee) you limp and use the rest of your body abnormally until the normal homeostasis returns. Sometimes, the limping or compensation pain is worse than the original injury. If you still can not walk normally, see an orthopedist or sports medicine specialist, and get advice from a physical therapist about the seriousness. Dr blake.
