Part of PCO syndrome: Polycystic ovary syndrome is a common hormonal disorder of women of reproductive age. The main symptom of this syndrome generally is unusual periods, anything from infrequent or absent periods to prolonged menstrual periods. There is nothing particularly unusual for the cramping and bleeding to be during day and not during night.

I do not think so: From your description , your symptoms are related your body position of movement . I can reassure you that it has nothing to do polycystic ovary syndrome . Again , the day and night time changes could be also matter of perception . At night due to sleep you may not notice the pain particularly if it is mild
