PCOS doesn't cause: PCOS doesn't usually cause pain. The ovaries are enlarged, though, because there are multiple small cysts, and sometimes that can cause painful intercourse. PCOS is a hormone imbalance where you are not ovulating. You may need to be evaluated for the pain to make sure nothing else is going on.
