DVT not a cause: Clots in your leg veins cannot cause a stroke unless there is an abnormal communication between the right and left chambers of you heart, usually an atrial septal defect or an abnormal communication between a pulmonary artery and vein (a varix or av fistula). Conjunctivitis is not a factor.

Rare: Very very rare for leg vein clot to cause a stroke. You would need an unusual congenital connection to have a stroke occur from a leg vein clot. Sudden red eye would not be typically associated with this.
