Depends: If the man boobs are part of general obesity, losing weight will reduce the masses. However, some men have abnormally enlarged breasts, gynecomastia, that may require surgical removal.

Might help but...: Probably not completely. Enlarged male breasts are usually made up of a combination of fat and breast tissue. The exercises you describe may help you to lose weight and you will lose some of the fatty excess in the breasts. Depending on how large your breasts are, this may or may not be enough. If not, an operative procedure may be necessary to obtain the best result.

Doubtful: If you are overweight, man boobs can be a site where the excess is stored & any change in diet or exercise that reduces your weight may help some. However, there are both medications and medical conditions that can trigger gynecomastia, a true collection of breast tissue. This should be evaluated by your doc. If problems are excluded, surgical removal of breast tissue and or fat may be required.
