It needs evaluation: Unilateral daily headache is very crippling and needs evaluation . There are many causes for it and it is very difficult to pin point what your problem is . I would recommend to see your pcp , he may solve your problem or refer you to a neurologist . Good luck.

Do you have any : Other associated symptoms? Like nausea, throbbing, light sensitivity-migraine. Any problem with confusion, seizure, unsteadiness, weakness/numbness on extremities-brain lesion. Tension headaches are in both sides. Hemicrania continua it's a headache in one side associated with eye tearing, nasal congestion, or dropping eyelid. Temporal arteritis one side too. See your physician asap.

Migraine/muscle pain: See a neurologist to determine if you are having migraines or muscle tension headaches. Both can cause pain on just one side of the head. There are effective treatments for both depending on the cause.
