Don't know: When it happened but it is not uncommon for the whole foot to swell. If it has been more than a few days you might need antibiotics. Remember the best first side for a sting is household ammonia. It not an allergy when the part of the body next to the sting swells but if your arm swelled after your foot was stung then it would be. Hope you feel better.

Wasp stings: When you are stung by a wasp the insect injects venom into you. Most people will have pain, itching and swelling. If you have shortness of breath or tongue swelling, then it is a severe allergy that needs assistance. Er visit for the present and an epi pen for the future. For routine care, scrape the stinger out and place ice on the wound. Benadryl (diphenhydramine) or a like antihistamine can help with itch.
