Knee pain: Rest and ice change your shoes very often maybe every 4 to 6 months. Use runners shoes.

Strength : The quads and stretch the tendon from the knee to the hip. Lots of physical therapy places offer sports injury evaluations that are free and will show you the exercises so you can do them properly. You might need physical therapy for a while as doing the exercise and stretched wrong can do more harm than good.
