A member asked:

Can chlorella be taken with metformin?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Unknown: Chlorella is a food supplement that is not regulated by the fda. There are no studies looking at how it can interact with medications. There are no studies that show that it is effective in treating any disorder, despite any claims or phrases they have on the label. If you have money to through away on these supplements, it would be more rewarding to donate it to a worthy charity.
