Antibiotics: Treatment is with antibiotics that are safe to use in pregnancy. Because of the many bacteria in the mouth and the increased pregnancy vascular system making blood borne infection more likely, monr extensive invasive work should be delayed until post-pregnany if possible.

See your dentist: Regular cleanings and debridements will be your best chance and if needed antibiotics. Removal of the debris causing the disease is primary concern #1. See your dentist and/or hygienist soon.
