Fifths disease exposure during pregnancy, what to do?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Parvo and pregnant: Fortunately, about half of pregnant exposed to Parvovirus B19 are already immune, and there are no ill consequences to mother or baby. Risk of miscarriage and fetal anemia occurs in less than 5%, usually in the first few months of gestation. There is no treatment, but your OB may want to increase monitoring, and they would likely want to be notified of your possible infection.
