I have periodontal disease and they said i have some bone loss i am currently trying to conceive will pregnancy make my teeth even worse?

Babies are very good parasites and will take everything they need from your body. If doing Meth stop as you may lose teeth. I would work on brushing flossing at least daily. But only the teeth you want to keep. ;-) Get teeth cleaned regularly.

Just the opposite, your poor oral hygiene will make your pregnancy worse. There will be too many bacteria in your system that can lead to preterm birth and low birth weight. You must see a periodontist for treatment before it affects your anticipated pregnancy. Pregnancy without treatment will make your gum disease worse and you may have to have some teeth extracted.

Gum diseases an infection, and requires immediate treatment. Will not self heal, and will only worsen with time. Gum disease has been implicated in low weight newborns, premature delivery, as well as heart, brain, kidney, liver disease. Imperative that your mouth is infection free.
