4-6months: It may be safer to introduce your baby to water in the bathtub with full supervision of course. Have fun!

Not recommended: While we may see some infants 'swimming' in a pool on you-tube-as a pediatrician and neonatologist-it is too risky. No rush to learn to swim. Wait till 1-2 yrs of age. Better to be safe. Want to avoid any risks if you come.
