A member asked:

Im 29 years old had a vsd repair when i was born and know i have chest pains and shortness of breath all test came back normal?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Chest wall: Congenital heart surgery often results in some distortion of the chest wall. Also inside the chest wall lining there are adhesions. Both can cause pain from bone/muscle. If you are active playing sports etc, chest wall pain is also common. Have you been tested for asthma, lung function? Unless there is a strong family history, coronary disease would be rare at your age. Discuss with your doctor.
