Need 2 C orth: A mcl tear especially a partial tear needs bracing, rest. A brace that lets u ext fully will put the mcl @ max tightness. A brace that limits ext 2, 30* will allow it 2 heal not under tension. @ 1-2 weeks, i add motion 2 the brace, locked @ 30* 1st then motion flex 30-unlimited. Strengthening can b done @ pt in the brace. @ 4-5 weeks exercise with brace but go 4 rom out of brace &off @ 6. Al l@ pt.
