Meniscus or sprain: Medial knee pain without a specific injury is usually not a mcl (medial collateral ligament) sprain or tear. It could be a torn meniscus, arthritis, or a tendonitis. See an orthopedic doctor and get it evaluated . I predict an MRI in your future.
