Search online: While i can't vouch for the veracity of any of the websites, i just did a quick search for "how to do a full split" and found ~288, 000, 000 websites, including multiple youtube videos. Read a few. Watch a few. I suspect they will all discuss some variation on practice, practice, practice. Good luck!

Expertise: Doing a full split requires training and preparation best provided through a dance or gymnastics teacher. The specific process required is outside most physicians' medical expertise. However, if you injure yourself i'm sure sports medicine, physical medicine, or orthopedic physicians would be glad to assist you.

Splits: Don't expect to do splits overnight. Chinese splits take longer than regular splits (yes, long, long, long ago i was a gymnast & a cheerleader). Pushing against resistance can be helpful. Some instructions follow but i will encourage you to see a coach to give you some pointers & to insure that you are doing things safely. http://gymnastics.about.com/od/trainingadvice/ss/frontsplit.htm.
