PID not responding: In a patient diagnosed with pid who is not responding to oral medications (which I am assuming is all you are on), they should be hospitalized and started on IV antbiotics. You also probably need a ct scan of your abdomen and pelvis to make sure that you do not have an abscess (a walled off infection that might need to be drained).
