Anxiety or depressio: First a professional evaluation is a must because both conditions can not only coexist but it is a chicken or egg question. Did depression come first and lead to anxiety or vice versa. Also some condition like bipolar 2 disorders have both anxiety and depression. The treatment is different depending what predominates. Anxiety gives a person a very contant sense of fear and depression with pessism.
