Keflex: Depending on how significant the infection is will determined how quickly the resolution of the infection. One could expect an improvement after a few days or so. After a surgery you will have swelling and pain. Give it time. More than likely you may see an improvement starting in 3 days or so.

Variable: With skin/wound infections after surgery, there should be improvement within a few days. If not, a different antibiotic may be required for resolution.

Depends: Post surgical infection usuall starts getti ng better in few days. However local poor wound care, abscess and resistant bacteria could prolong infection.
