If the conjunctiva: Of the eyelid (the inner lining when you invert the eyelid), is pale this may indicate reduced blood flow or a reduced quantity of red blood cells. Low blood pressure and anemia are common cause. In females, iron deficiency is usually a prime suspect. Have your primary care doctor or ob/gyn run a blood count for you.
