No delay with IUD: There is no delay to fertility with the iud, whether it is the Mirena (levonorgestrel) or the copper iud. There might be some uncertainty regarding where exactly you are in your cycle, but your chances of conception are the same as everyone else over the first year of trying!

Some time needed: Every thing is possible but realistically it takes atleast six months to get pregnant after iud removal. Keep trying, you might get lucky!

Fertility return: If you're talking Mirena (levonorgestrel) iud, it may take up to 6 months to get your fertility back. Copper iud removal brings your fertility back pretty much right away.
