?Asthma?: This type of nocturnal cough can signal the onset of asthma in children. Have him seen by a pediatrician and if necessary a pediatric lung specialist and have this appropriately diagnosed and treated. Do not ignore this as it may become worse and result in severe illness. Good luck.
