Toxoplasmosis: Your blood work might indicate a recent infection related to toxoplasmosis. Once igg is positive, it indicates longer term immunity and these are also the antibodies that protect the fetus. Their recommendation is probably worth considering, but igm might be positive for a while after the infection is cleared.
