After a surgery: You will likely be tired due to pain medication. If there is heavy blood loss the anemia can contribute. There is nothing about the uterus that provides energy, however, and after the effects of surgery you should feel much better. Gd luck.

See below: You will initially be tired because of the surgery. In a few weeks to a month you will regain energy. If you are getting a laparascopic hysterectomy you will recover quicker.
