Common: Fever blisters are a type of herpes simplex infection which comes on from time time especially in times of stress either physical or psychological, at times for no apparent reason. It will go away before you know it.

Cold sores: The cold sores or fever blisters are a herpes simplex virus. Stress whether physical (lack of sleep infection....) or emotional stress. I advise you to see your doctor as there are medications your doctor can put you on to prevent the frequent out breaks.
