Time: Fever blisters (herpes simplex/cold sores) usually last 7-10 days. Canker sores are a little different. For cold sores- homeopathic rhus tox can shorten the course. Lysine Amino Acid can also help. A chinese herbaceutical schmoove is also very helpful in helping both resolve. (www.Franzcenter.Com /herbaceuticals). For canker sores that are recurrent vitamin b complex can also help prevent them.
