Yes: Ovulation prediction kits measure luteinizing hormone (lh), looking for the lh surge that triggers ovulation. Hcg is nearly identical to lh (which is why you are using it to stimulate ovulation!). There is no point in using an ovulation prediction kit if you are taking HCG shots. Ovulation typically occurs 36 hours after the HCG trigger.
