Is it physically possible to ovulate before hcg is zero? my hcg was 26 last thursday and i believe i got a positive lh surge.. it was extremely light then a few hours later opk was dark, then light again that evening. could that have been it?

HCG and LH are both produced via the pituitary and have the same receptor. HCG has pituitary origin prior to pregnancy, and placental origin after. You may have ovulated, and if your period is delayed, wait 7-10 days and obtain a serum HCG level, which would indicate pregnancy.
