A member asked:

What will40ml of insulin for non insulin users do?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

4000 units: Likely death, unless immediately taken to a hospital and pumped full of glucose, because 40 ml amounts to 4000 units Insulin (4 vials) when the standard concentration is used. Even with a hospital involved, the risk of death is high. It would take 40 injections to accomplish this with an Insulin syringe. Iatrogenic hypoglycemia is detectable. Insulin type is only relevant to timing hypoglycemia.
