No: Almost all if not all women get constipated during pregnancy and end up straining. If not with constipation, they still get in situations that cause their intraabdominal pressure to rise such as coughing, sneezing, lifting, etc, but it's uncommon for them to lose their pregnancy due to that on most occasions.

Shouldn't : But you should not be straining like that anyway. Try miralax (polyethylene glycol). It should be safe for you & keep you from straining.
