A member asked:

Husband has had numbness, tingling & swelling in his left hand for almost a year 24/7 could this be related to his calcified abdominal aorta?

Carpal tunnel: It may be secondary to carpal tunnel syndrome and is not relaated to a calcified aorta. An orthopedic surgeon will help.

Arterial Occlusion: If there is significant calcification of the aorta, then there is an excellant chance that other vessels can have calcifications and possibly narrowing. This would be very significant in the coronary or heart arteries. Evaluation by your physician should be considered.
