Get Rx that works: If over-the-counter benzoyl peroxide works well, you're fortunate. Otherwise, i start folks on topical clindamycin, perhaps with a retinoic acid derivative if there are numerous blackheads or benzoyl peroxide if not. Female patients may clear up if they can and want the oral contraceptive pill. For tougher cases systemic antibiotic as appropriate &/or dermatologist visit.
