Anal fissure?: At age 22 year old, colon cancer would not be the most likely reason for anal bleeding. If it felt like your anus was being cutting with glass you could have an anal fissure. Hemorrhoid is also possible. The only way to know for sure is to be medically evaluated. Take care.

Probably not: More likely a small tear, fissure, or hemorrhoid made to bleed by a hard stool or straining. Extra water, fiber, and stool softener will probably sort it out for you in a few days. It bleeding continues, see your doctor for exam.
