I have swollen ankles after work. my sgot is 47 and sgpt 90. does these values have any relation to ankle swelling? all other lft values are normal.

It may: Swelling in ankles and mildly elevated liver tests raises the possibility of heart dysfunction( right heart )please see your doctor.

Possibly: Ankle swelling could reflect venous insufficiency or mild heart failure - which can cause hepatic congestion and elevate those lfts. Liver disease can also produce low albumin, which would predispose to edema. Workup needed.
