36 weeks prgnt.severe depression.used to take citanew 10mg n nervin .5mg b4 prg.haven't slept in 3 days.can i take a sleepin pill? csection due in 2 weeks

Prg and meds : You need to talk to both your ob/gyn and dr rx Lexapro & nervin. I have had several patients continue their psychotropic medications while pregnant with no birth defects. I don't know about nervin but it's a combo drug with .25mg of xanax (alprazolam). I would ask for .25mg of aprazolam solely at bedtime. Lexapro will take 2-4 weeks to get to a therapeutic blood level. No meds 1st trimester & no lico3 ever.
