Not uncommon: Communication leads to respect, which begets trust, which allows for intimacy, and enhances the love in all relationships. Making time for you and your husband to communicate is essential. Get out of the house, go for walks, go for coffee. Get away from phones and tv's have a space in the home dedicated and arranged for better communication. Get in tune on the importance of communication.

Marital dsyfunction: Approach your husbanc calmly and tell him how much you are hurting as a result of his time on the phone and make sure to accent that you miss interacting with him. React openly and non-defensively to his reply but continue to discuss and express your hurt and hopefully he will want to re-engage. Best.
