Week: It should be pretty much out of your system, and platelet function returned to normal after a week.

A week or so: It shouldn't take more than 2 days for the drug to be gone from your system. But it also takes about 5 days for new platelets (which the Plavix (clopidogrel) affects) to develop in the bone marrow and be released into the blood. Your results may vary this is just an estimate. This is also assuming that the Plavix (clopidogrel) is the only cause of your bruising.
