i was given hydrocortisone cream 1% & loratadine tablets, 10mg/antihistamine. its been over 1 hour & the hives continue to appear & burn. concerned?

Hives treatment: It takes about 1 to 3 hours for Claritin (loratadine) to start working. If you still symptomatic and suffer this much, it is safe to take an extra one. Call your doctor if it does not go away later today.
