Yes, but I would suggest the hydrocortizone. Applications of a cool compress decreases nerve signals to the brain that trigger the itch sequence, so try some in troublesome areas.

Yes, you can. Your body is still reacting to the mites, even though they are probably dead. Use hydrocortisone, not benadryl.
