A member asked:

Why would knuckles swell in bad weather?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Weather causes pain?: Increased pain has been associated with slowly falling barometric pressure. You will notice that in a storm system coming in fast you are fine. Its that front that takes days to come in that gets you. There is also fair weather pain from a high pressure area moving away from you. The mechanism is completely unknown. Swelling might be inflammation from the same mechanism or just feels swollen.
