A member asked:

What do you know about mrsa and hospital acquired infections?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Lots.: There are two types of MRSA (methicillin-resistant staph aureus) infections: hospital-acquired and community acquired. Both are serious, in that MRSA bacteria are resistant to many types of antibiotics, so treatment options are limited. They are also contagious. Don't fool around with MRSA - see a doctor right away.
