Oral hygiene: Gripe water may have a soothing effect in babies because of its sweetness, but research has shown it to be of no therapeutic effect. Your baby may be accumulating some food debris in his/her mouth causing bacteria to proliferate and causing bad breath. Make sure you swab your child's mouth clean after feeding. Visit your pediatrician and have your baby examined for upper respiratory and gut problm.

WATER DOES NOT CURE : There is no water that cures bad breath. Bad breath in a baby is usually caused by the fermentation of food. Very common babies that are fed with bottle milk and/or sugar liquids. Mouth od babies should be cleaned (including teeth) with a clean piece of gauze and if possible rinse with sterile water as to remove food debris.
